Motorist Access Agreement (Terms & Conditions)

Ramp’n’Bay™ provides access to automotive workspace, equipment, and facilities only.

 

We do not provide:

• Mechanical advice

• Diagnosis

• Repair services

• Supervision of work

 

All decisions and actions taken are the sole responsibility of the Motorist.

2. Host Site Structure

 

Ramp’n’Bay™ operates as a network of independent Host workshops.

 

By using this service, you acknowledge:

• The Host site is an independent business

• Ramp’n’Bay™ is not responsible for the physical premises

• Any service work carried out is not part of Ramp’n’Bay™

 

3. Permitted Use (Pit-Stop Access Rules)

 

Motorist access is strictly limited to short-duration inspection and light work.

 

The following are not permitted:

• Major dismantling (e.g. engine, gearbox removal)

• Long-duration repair work

• Vehicle storage

• Leaving a vehicle on-site beyond the booked session

 

All vehicles must arrive and leave within the booked time unless otherwise agreed.

 

4. Responsibility for Actions

 

You confirm that:

• You are responsible for any work carried out on your vehicle

• You are competent to perform the work OR accept full responsibility for attempting it

• You will not undertake any work beyond your capability

 

5. Equipment Use

 

All equipment is used at your own risk.

 

You agree to:

• Use equipment safely and correctly

• Follow any instructions provided

• Stop work if unsure how to proceed

 

Ramp’n’Bay™ and the Host accept no responsibility for misuse.

 

6. Health & Safety

 

You agree to:

• Follow all on-site safety rules

• Use appropriate protective equipment where required

• Comply with any instruction given by the Host

 

Unsafe behavior may result in immediate termination of access.

 

7. Damage & Liability

 

You accept full responsibility for:

• Damage to equipment

• Damage to the premises

• Damage to other vehicles

• Injury or loss resulting from your actions

 

Ramp’n’Bay™ does not accept liability for:

• Mechanical failure

• Incorrect diagnosis

• Failed repairs

• Any outcome resulting from your decisions or work

 

8. Third-Party Technicians

 

Any technician engaged:

• Is acting independently

• Is not an employee or representative of Ramp’n’Bay™

 

Where applicable, services arranged via Bid2Fix™ are subject to separate terms.

 

9. Booking & Time Use

 

You agree to:

• Arrive and finish within your booked time

• Pay for any additional time used

• Remove your vehicle at the end of the session

 

Failure to do so may result in additional charges or removal action.

 

10. Vehicle Responsibility

 

You confirm that:

• Your vehicle is roadworthy or transported legally

• You hold valid insurance where required

• You are responsible for the condition and safety of your vehicle at all times

 

11. Right to Refuse Access

 

Ramp’n’Bay™ or the Host reserves the right to:

• Refuse or terminate access

• Stop any activity deemed unsafe or inappropriate

 

12. Acceptance

 

By proceeding, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms

• You accept full responsibility for your actions

• You understand that Ramp’n’Bay™ provides access only, not services
